Atlantic Signal designed, developed and manufactured General Aviation ICS cable assembly Originally developed in 2011 with the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Operations teams. This cable is traditionally used by non-DOD clients utilizing air assets. The custom circuitry, developed by Atlantic Signal, inside the over-molded Nexus connector - reads the ICS impedance levels and adjusts the headsets' performance accordingly The housing shown in the photo depicts the larger than average over-sleeve surrounding the Nexus plug - this contains the custom General Aviation asset compatible circuitry The plug and play design of the Atlantic Signal General Aviation ICS cable - allows an operator to stow the cable when not in use. When connected to the appropriate PTT housing, the custom over-molded connector stands at a 60 degree angle for ease of access with a gloved thumb and forefinger. Further, when connected to a PTT box, the connector is angled 45 degrees in toward the body armor for a tight fit nan nan nan

The Revolution-X™ (aka REV-X™) was the brainchild of a US Military Special Operations client desiring a headset that could provide two forms of radio receive audio, having no over-the-ear cups which, in turn, could provide ventilation and personal situational and directional awareness on demand, and could be exposed in up to 5 meters of salt/freshwater submersion for up to 5 hours, all of which could be worn comfortably under a helmet for extended periods of time. This tall demand signal resulted in a complete re-set of how a tactical headset should be designed and perform - all further complicated with an above-industry standard expectation related to water exposure and submersion. The complicated nature of the REV-X™ resulted in a near 3-year trial and error development project with multiple iterations being jumped, swam and put through a variety of ground-based operations by the client.

The VIPER II Push-to-Talk was developed by Atlantic Signal at the request of several clients looking for a push-to-talk that had the capabilities to run twin dual band radios, cross-band between radios and utilize CHAT Programs among many other requirements. The clients wanted a simple, easy to use solution out of the box with plug and play cables for various radios, ICS platforms and smartphones. Of equal importance, the clients wanted the capability to program the PTT to perform other functions. The VIPER II fulfills all these requirements and more.
