Field Forensics - Portable Analysis Solutions for Unknown Substances

The microTLC, laboratory Raman Analyzer and handheld Raman Analyzer are portable forensics analysis solutions for unknown substances, such as narcotics, cutting agents, explosives with precursors and other materials. Based on thin layer chromatography, the microTLC™ is a small, rugged solution for rapid analysis of trace amounts of target substances in test samples. The laboratory Raman Analyzer (i-Raman EX™) is a portable, lab-based solution for identifying a unknown liquids, powders and solids. The handheld Raman Analyzer is a holster sized solution for rapid field identification of seized samples. Both the Raman units utilize a 1064 nm excitation that avoids fluorescence associated with real world forensics samples. The Rapid Field Forensics Analysis™ solution comprises the Colorimetric Test Kits, microTLC and Handheld Raman Analyzer in three deployable toolboxes.
