The Tactical Night Sight® (TaNS®) is a high-resolution Clip-on Night Vision Device (CNVD) that mounts on any MIL-STD-1913 rail interface forward of an existing scope, adding night vision capabilities to daytime target acquisition platforms. The unit is installed, operated, and removed without tools and without affecting boresight (permanent boresight alignment). The unit can be mounted on a spotting scope for long range reconnaissance, hand-held as a Night Observation Device (NOD), or used in other night-time operations requiring night vision capabilities.
The Payload Development Kit (PDK) further extends payload development to end-users, enabling the rapid development of other mission-specific payloads. The PDK provides a full set of payload development tools for electrical, mechanical, and software integration. Designed to address the needs of the FLIR UAS development community the Payload Rapid Prototyping Kit, provides all the hardware necessary to support payload and sensor integrations using the FLIR PDK. The kit contains a PCB with exposed headers for simple prototyping and integration. The SkyRanger R70* and SkyRaider R80D Tether Kit enables continuous operation of the aircraft and attached payloads in support of multiple mission sets. The Tether Kit consists of a detachable harness/power converter, battery replacement modules, and interfaces with off-the-shelf ground stations. Should a loss of tether power occur, the system will warn the operator and continue to fly on internal batteries until a low-power condition triggers either an automatic descent to a safe AGL altitude or a safe auto-land.
