The TE5 Monitor receives AES Encrypted wireless and/or hardwired video from any CORE, SWIFT, or SYNC Camera System and displays the video on a 5.0 inch LCD. While streaming video, operators can remotely toggle between multiple camera views and enable, disable, or adjust the camera's LED intensity. A removable NVG IR filter provides covert NVG viewing by blocking visible light from the LCD. Video on the display can still be seen using NVGs without giving away the user's position. The TE5 Monitor features backlit push buttons for critical, real-time controls and a capacitive touch screen for pairing multiple cameras. The PADS® Precision AirDrop System ASonde enables aircrews to obtain in-situ weather information for mission execution. The use of data provided by the QinetiQ North America ASonde, in conjunction with the PADS UHF Dropsonde Receiver Sub-system (UHF-DRS) has resulted in a 70% improvement for impact point accuracy for high-altitude ballistic airdrop systems. For guided airdrop systems, the real-time data provided by the PADS ASonde allows mission planners to increase standoff distance and deliver cargo and personnel from higher altitudes with greater precision and safety than conventional methods.

QinetiQ North America's TASK ™ Tactical Atmospheric Sounding Kit enables forward deployed personnel to observe and report real-time atmospheric data, including winds aloft, in support of localized weather forecasting or tactical, weather-dependent missions such as embarked air cavalry operations, Precision Airdrop, or artillery support. The TASK system continuously measures and broadcasts wind speed, wind direction, pressure, temperature and humidity while ascending through the air column, to altitudes greater than 40,000 ft, on a six cubic foot weather balloon. TASK is fully PADS®/JPADS compatible, weighs less than five pounds, and can be used to calculate HALO/HAHO release points.

QinetiQ North America's TASK™ Radiosonde is the world's lightest radiosonde, weighing in at only 38 grams (1.5 oz). The TASK Radiosonde collects and broadcasts high resolution pressure, temperature, humidity, and winds aloft data in real-time as it ascends through the air column. The data is relayed back to the TASK ground station transceiver enabling forward deployed units to report real-time atmospheric conditions either by voice or net-centric data transmission to any users requiring the information. The data can also be imported into standard weather forecasting software to produce tactical weather reports for mission planning and modeling.
